Sadly, CG isn't standing for Captain Gamer in this case, I just mean when I take something and use a graphics program to add colour or otherwise edit something. I'll put more stuff in here as I experiment or whatever.
At first, I was gonna do some Captain Gamer stuff, with the Prof on the left with a smile and Cap striking a pose on the right. I vaguely scrawled out that much of Cap, before I figured out that I really suck at drawing hands, so I sorta stopped there to reconsider, especially since the proportions and pose were a little iffy already. I'll probably change the pose about, so he's got his arms folded or at least one tucked into a pocket or something. x.x;
Right after that though, I decided to instead take a go at drawing Cream, which I found much easier. I'm not sure about the scale, but I think I got the style right.

Persevered on the hand, although I'm still not happy, hence why I haven't done that much more on him. Kinda looks like he's hitch-hiking rather than giving a thumbs up and the hair thats meant to be behind his head, looks like a beard until I sort out shading. Sonic didn't turn out too bad, although I think I fudged the shading there.
All done with mouse and Photoshop CS2, incidentally. Plans to add mario and/or kirby, better background...and Prof, perhaps, will be delayed, while I go out to keep a friend company, since he's stuck at home alone for a week.
I really, really like the method used here. I suppose I'm just so used to all the half-effort oekaki around the tubes that seeing something not pixelized appealed to me.
Did you use a reference for that Sonic? There's custom sprites that are public domain that look an awful lot like how you have Sonic there. Regardless, I just love those eyes.
Some good stuff here, Konoko. Especially considering it's computer-generated... personally, I've always had trouble doing art on computers, but that's probably just me (and the fact that I stopped trying after attempting to use something layer-based (either Photoshop or Illustrator) with a mouse).
Hey... that's MegaTokyo! Sw33t! Though, I thought Ping had grey hair at that point? I've likely got it backward.
Also, the Dragon is, as are all Dragons, awesome. Especially since you gave it the proper physiology, instead ofanthropomorphising (that's probably not a word...) it. _________________

Soulpatch. X3
Thanks. ^^; I am kinda heavy on the burn/dodge, and soft brushes of different colours, which some people really bash on as a technique, since it can make everything either a bit unsaturated/washed out or blotchy. I did look at a sprite to get an alternate idea for the shoes, yeah.

Nah, she's had pink hair during the incident at megagamers (where Largo turned up with the Mr Muffin scooter) and ever since.
Location: At the computer. Where else could I post on an online forum, a skatepark?

What's so great about having a dragon complimented. As long as the drawing doesn't suck, ALL dragons rule.
But yours is quite well done.
cool. _________________ Apparantly, I'm like, off the vilg RESERVATION. Whatever that means.
Didn't get much more work done on the WIP art, due to keeping a friend company a couple days, since he's stuck at home all alone at the moment, then today got a little sidetracked by something else.

Mostly just practicing folds of cloth and a little playing with fur and backgrounds. Then creator of the Jack comic sent a PM, complimenting my work then mentioning the need for a colourist to fill the gap for a pet project.
Edit: o_o Then asked me how much I'd charge per 300 dpi 8 1/2" x 11" page, since it will eventually be printed. Woah. I've been playing about with photoshop and CGing various comics and such for fun for quite a long time now...Heck of a development, especially since I never really think of myself as all that good.
The suprising offer mention in the previous post, doesn't seem to have gone anywhere after that. Bleh, oh well. xP
Kinda been busy anyway, due to cousins upcoming wedding, going out shopping for tommorow.
Did another El Goonish Shive strip though.

Sorry guys, but I am so impatient with using a computer for graphics that I barely even touch a graphics program. I do admire computer graphics, though. _________________ Computer problems? PM or E-Mail me and I'll see what I can do!
Hmm, not bad at all. Though I do think there should be a few shades more contrast on things like fur and hair.
