Well, Summer's ending and we are heading back to school (or college).

So, anyone dreading it or awaiting with glee?

I'm a mixture of the two. College's coming up, and its a whole new ballgame...
Also, taking Figure Drawing. Meep.

I'm very nervous and confused. I'm taking all hard classes and its my senior year. I'm just forceing myself forward, really...

Plus, my social life is officially dead, so theres no friend factor to really help me in school. (besides teachers) Online social life is also looking fairly grim, as I only regularly talk to, like, two people, and one of them's only thirteen or something. If I wasnt smart/didn't have a reading n gaming list, I'd probably kill myself right now =/

Eh, the entire poll won't really apply to me for another six months. I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so we just finished with winter.

Being already back in school, I feel indifferent. I do like being away from the house, though, and spending time with friends is always great. I played at least three M:TG games this weekend, and though I have to catch up on homework now, it was worth it.

Naryu: New things are always more intimidating from afar. Once you jump into it, I'm sure you'll do fine. Are you going for an Art major?

Skybait: Surprised Well, you definitely shouldn't kill yourself. I can't speak from experience, but being dead probably sucks. Plus, you can always socialize with one of us! (Though I'm barely ever on AIM. <_<)

Anomaly: So, does that mean you're still in school and don't get out for a while?

Nah, I'm looking forward to it. Heaven's going to rock.

Well, not until Christmas holidays, anyway.

Ah, that sucks. Then again, Christmas always seems to have a long holiday.

Well, alright, being dead doesn't suck if you're Christian and go to heaven, but I think killing yourself is supposed to disqualify you from heaven or something. Razz

Eh, it depends, really - though, the whole time-transcending nature of grace kind of gets in the way of it causing too many problems.
Though, there is the matter of when it can actually be a positive thing to do, based on motive - like, say, sacrificing yourself to help others.
Anyway, this isn't really a theological thread.

I've been in school for two weeks now, and it's pretty fun. I get to see friends and all, but I'm super busy and I don't have much time for anything. I still miss summer. I am looking forward to fall, though. It's a nice change of pace. So I'm mixed between happy and sad. It was also kinda scary starting high school, but I got used to it really fast.
