Awesome Websites

Remember, folks, if you have a topic of interest for the off-topic forum, feel free to post it. Enrich lives! Surprised

Here's some sites to start off with.

Cockeyed.com: A death laser with the power of a million suns, prank road signs, and a Doc Ock costume. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Everyone should know what Something Awful is, but just in case. Check out the Photoshop Phriday!

b3ta loves the web. Browsing their newsletter is clinically proven to increase the number of interesting links in your daily web diet.
Koji_Tsunami

www.youtube.com If you can't find a video of it there, no videos of it exist.
Okay, so I exxagersate, but its still pretty cool![/url]

I hear Animetube's worth checking out too, though it doesn't tend to have more obscure anime.

Have you ever wondered how to pimp your credit card? No? Then check this out anyways!
Skybait J

Drunk duck. Free comic hosting? Over three thousand comics already!? Over half of them are dead or only two pages?!?! Great site, I love it XD

Legendary Frog probably IS legendary by this point, here's all of his movies, of course, but now he also write flash comics, that are indeed FUNNY!

Newgrounds.com-Everything, by everyone. What else needs saying?
Chocolate Ninja

Newgrounds! One of the very first websites I spent regular internet time on. I've been checking that site on and off since 2000.

In a related note, c404. Home of the awesome games Atomic Eagle and Runes of Shalak.

What animetube? I went there and found nothing but Ring Tone ads.
Chocolate Ninja

Whoops! I made the mistake of assuming that it was .com, like with Youtube. Fix'd!
Koji_Tsunami

That's better.
http://www.themechanicalmaniacs.com rules. One of the best Mega Man sites ever.
Chocolate Ninja

I see that you may have made much the same mistake. <_<
Koji_Tsunami

Nah, I just accidently left the word "the" out of the title.
Fixed it.
8-Bit

Bonus Stage

An webtoon series with 88 episodes... Well 89, but you have to pay to see the rest of it... I think. If you life complete randomnise, stupidity and video game references then you might like this.

"Cars are food!"
Chocolate Ninja

Bonus Stage! I used to watch that, though it kinda jumped the shark for me at some point.

Good ol' Brunching Shuttlecocks. Hasn't updated in years, but some top-notch comedy stuff.

Fanfiction.net -- If you can manage to dodge through all the Zelinks, Sonadows, Mimoes, and Harrons, you might actually find a piece of fan fiction worth the time to review!

...alright, I think I figured out Zelda/Link, Sonic/Shadow, and Harry/Ron, but what the heck is Mimo?

edit: Also, since this is the "awesome websites" thread...
Here's 20,000+ names for all you writers out there. Sorry, only actual names, nothing Elvish or Martian or whatever.
And here is a forum for all those of us who fear the dreaded retribution of a mischievous, or just literally-minded genie! (I wrote the most recent rendition of the "subjective time control" wish, though you could probably guess that...)

Mimoe is the mash for Mimi/Joe of the first-generation Digimon anime.

That thing was HUGE all the way back when.

Ah, that explains why I couldn't figure it out. Never watched Digimon in my life. Thanks, Cap.
Though I wonder where all these crack-smokery ships come from. I know one person who shipped Toph and Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender - but that's just one man, nothing compared to the massive movement behind such odd pairings and Katara/Zuko or Aang/Toph. (If there are any shippers for those ships, sorry. Also, sorry if nobody here's ever heard of Avatar.)

Not exactly AWESOME, but kind of funny-sad.

Raise Awareness! www.jordanstoltz.com
Jordan Stoltz is pretty cool ,and his website is getting a shameless plug!
