Though, if that is why he's here, he'd probably be really disappointed. I mean, not only does Cap refuse to talk about any of his plans, but he talks like all their battles are fictional for some reason. What's up with that?

I'd hoped that the gamerhang would regain traffic with the summer, but it actually has less than during a lot of the last school year.
I'm guessing it's due to forgetfulness, vacations, etc.

There are porb'ly lot of reasons why nobody's here, ranging from the fact that the site is never upated (Captain Gamer!) to just sheer lack of caring (many others) to making and forgetting about an account to (rants for hours)

I might just be that we are simple the only vocal part of the Captain gamer Fan base, after all, not everyone is as brave are we are when it come to opening ourselves up to people we might never meet IRL.

I'd try to help spread the word, but I don't know if it'd do anything but a brief surge, that wouldn't stick due to things being quiet. But then, without spreading the word, of course things stay/get further, quiet.
...not quite a vicious circle, but definately a bit rounded in shape there.

yes, definately ovaly... but a good point none the less. if the site isn't updated (and im not putting all the blame on Cap, cause this includes action in the forums) then people just arent interested. only real fans, and freinds of Cap will stay on the site for verry long... unless of coarse they get REALLY hooked to the story line of the web novel, and end up returning every day simply in anticipation of the next chapter.... or they could just be forum trolls like us...

lol, maybe forum trolls wasn't the right phrase... i guess i shouldnt use turms i dont fully understand... O_O anywho, what i was trying to say with that statement was that we come back to the forum (or at least i do) like every day just to check up on it, and check every new post... of course i might be the only one who really checks back THAT frequently, but whatever... anyway, the point is if someone is like that, and they start talking in one of the forum areas they will continue to come back despite the fact that the comics/web novel arent updated verry often.

The problem being that we're all disorganized and coming on at more and more sporadic times. We need a concerted, regular effort. Maybe if we set a date to all come on and start posting frequently, post ads up at various places with people of similar mindset, or invited friends...
Like a sorta second opening of the forum.

seriously though, I'm pretty sure we all live in seperate time zones so coordinating when were getting on the forums probably won't work well. I basicly check back here like four-five times a day nearly every day that i can, but that isn't really available to everybody. heck, I'm sure by now some people have actually QUIT these forums! *GASP!*
Also, the idea of any kind of advertisement probably wouldn't work too well due to lack of fundage. I'm sure Cap doesn't want to spend tons O' cash just to maybe get a few more people on the forums. the best thing we can do is hope (as is the case with supersonic) that Caps work in DA will draw in a crowd...

Well, at least someone responded.
Not a whole lot of people were on this site in the first place, looks like most of the people who came here all the time have left.
I'm guilty too, I haven't come on here in a while...
And I don't believe that Captain Gamer has done anything for a while either.
I used to come here all the time, like two summers ago.
It was cool, because it was small I knew everyone. I still know most of the people who post here, haven't forgotten most of them yet.
But that's the disadvantage, when a place is small, it has a risk of dying faster, and it's to the point where I haven't even given it a thought for a while now, I spend most of my time on EvaGeeks...
I don't really have a point to make, just think It'd be cool if this place was awesome again.
I'll be back some time.
