I wouldn't say the trap is that obvious. The thread is pretty hard to see, it plays heavily on something he's definately interested in...he pulled that box towards him without even thinking about it...
As for the latter point...yeah, pretty easy to take it off, but I guess if nothing else, it might slow him down, or also be letting her know he's there now.
...or, there could be something else in the box that isn't quite so easy to escape from. Or Sakura could be planning to use the momentary distraction, and shoryuken Gamer while he's blinded. _________________
Or theres some cunning reason to cover his visor.
That, or its just sillyness, and she'll just talking to him, ignoring the box on his head, until he asks about it.

I think its along the lines that putting on the visor and putting himself right behind that sense of justice and heroism that allows him to make those choices that would normally give him trouble. She's saying that "Game time", before a battle, is how he defines the time to do that, to throw himself into the 'role'.
It was the last two panels that baffled me for a while.

Sort of like Bruce Wayne is this really nice laid back guy, but Batman is the really tough defender of justice, huh? well, alright, I suppose.
As for the last two panels, I don't think that they need to be there at all.
I guess that Cap picked "C" and just decided to throw in a random punchline to fill up those last two panels.
I don't know, just a guess...
